There is an important need to balance that challenge with existing energy demand and the strains on global supply. The journey to renewables is critical, and its success will require creative solutions to ensure that millions of the world’s most vulnerable populations aren’t left without electricity and stuck in poverty, as a by-product. And there is a ready-to-use solution, Powerships, which enables renewables to play a more active and efficient role in the country’s energy mix. Phasing out coal: Even though we don’t have a project as an example as of yet, until RSA, we can still use theoretically that our solution is able to help the countries during their just energy transition and phasing-out coal. And 3- As a company conscious of its responsibilities, we have always endeavored to be greener and more sustainable. Consequently, we have been expanding our work supporting countries in their energy transition and in building resilience to major climate change-related crises.
We have invested heavily in LNG, with all our Powerships fitted with dual engines and our partnership with KARMOL providing our own FSRUs, allowing us to be agile and accessible around the world. We are a forward-thinking company and are always looking at ways to do more to improve the global energy mix, including expanding our support for renewable energy development. Our ambition is to lead in this space, supporting the energy transition as an LNG-to-power provider.
